<Swordsmith and sword feature>
Although this sword has no Mei, the blade has a good balance and been preserved finely.
With a nice Koshirae which was fitted tightly, this is an affordable Iai Shinken for practitioners.


<Appearance>
The slightly wide blade has an ordinary blade weight, Shinogi-zukuri, Iori-mune and the blade top is Nakamine.


<Hada - Forging>
Jihada (body of the sword) is Itame mixed with Mokume and coarse Jinie(darkish crystal)granule attaches on the surface.


<Hamon - Temper patterns>
The Hamon is Gunome Midare with nie white crystals attaches abundantly on the cutting edge.
In the Hamon Sunagashi shows it's flowing sand-like pattern.
Boshi- temper line of the tip is Midarekomi(wavy) and turns back to a gentle curl called Komaru.


<Nakago - Tang>
The Tang is Ubu(original) and has Sujigai file marks. Nakago end is Kurijiri shape.


<Habaki-Metal collar>
Single piece, gold gilded copper Habaki.


<Signature>
None.


<Koshirae - Mountings>
please check the detail pictures.

Tsuba: Solid iron Tsuba.
Fuchi: With engravings of horse on Shakudo base.
Kashira: With engravings of Shishi(lion) on Nanako pattern Shakudo(copper and gold alloy) base.
Menuki: With engravings (we are not certain about a motif) on polished Shakudo.
Tsuka: Covered with ray skin with Oyatsubu and wrapped with black pure silk in Morohineri-maki style.
Saya: Dark brown Kawarinuri on reddish brown Saya base color.


<Blade Condition>
Polish: There are quite few thin and tiny rusts on the blade.
Defects such as openings, chips and cracks: No Kizu was found however there are some areas of Are.
