<Swordsmith and sword feature>
Swordsmith Hizen no Kuni Yoshihiro 肥前國吉廣, real name Fukuda Yoshikazu was born in 1934 and learned under the famed swordsmith Miyairi Akihira who was an intangible national treasure and Mukansaka.
Yoshihiro won many awards in NBTHK Shinsakuto contest.

The Ji of this sword is fabulous and worth for appreciation, at the same time it's an ideal sword for Iai practice and Tameshigiri as it takes a wonderful balance.

<Appearance>
It has an ordinary blade weight and a width, Shinogi-zukuri, Iori-mune 鎬造り庵棟. The curve is Toriizori style and the blade top is Nakamine鳥居反り,中峰.
There are Katachiri Bohi(thick groove which extends to shinogi,leaves flat space only on Mune side) on both side of the blade.

<Hada - Forging>
The jihada (body of the sword) is a Itame with running tendancies and coarse Jinie(darkish crystal)granule attaches on the surface.

<Hamon - Temper patterns>
The Hamon is Gunome Midare with Nijuba ('Double hamon' -a second line of hamon which appears parallel to main hamon line) and brilliant nie white crystals attaches abundantly on the cutting edge.
Boshi- temper line of the tip is Midarekomi(wavy) with Hakikake activities and turns back to a gentle curl called Komaru.

<Nakago - Tang>
The Tang is Ubu(original) and has Kiri file marks 切鑢. Nakago end is Kurijiri shape.

<Habaki-Metal collar>
A new single piece, solid silver Osaka Habaki.

<Koshirae - Mountings>
please check the detail pictures.

Tsuba: Iron base Sukashi Tsuba with a motif of pine tree.
Fuchi Kashira: Higo style arabesque carved on copper base.
Menuki: Engraved field horsetail.
Tsuka: Covered with ray skin with Oyatsubu and wrapped with black pure silk in Morohineri-maki style.
Saya: Kuro-ishimenuri - a rough textured black lacquerer finish. A spare Shirasaya & Tsunagi comes with this sword.

<Blade Condition>
Polish: Blade seems "cloudy" due to Furutogi and a few minor Hike are seen.
Defects such as openings, chips and cracks: None
