<Swordsmith and sword feature>
Swordsmith Seiunshi Motomichi 清雲子元道, real name Ito Michiyuki 伊藤道行 lived and worked in Hisai city in Mie prefecture.
This wonderful Soshuden 相州伝 sword takes very good balance and gives a light feel to users. Additional Togi polish will bring out its beautiful Ji and Hada.
** Giheiya has fitted a new Habaki and Tsukamaki before we uploaded to our web sites.

It has an ordinary blade weight and a width, Shinogi-zukuri, Iori-mune. The curve is Toriizori style and the blade top is Nakamine.
There are Katachiri Bohi 棒樋(thick groove which extends to shinogi,leaves flat space only on Mune side) on both side of the blade.

<Hada - Forging>
The jihada (body of the sword) is Itame 板目 and coarse Jinie(darkish crystal地沸) granule attaches on the surface.

<Hamon - Temper patterns>
The Hamon is Niedeki Gunome Midare 沸出来,互の目乱れ and Aranie(荒沸 darkish crystal)granule attaches on the cutting edge while Tobiyaki activitiy appears here and there.
Boshi- temper line of the tip is Midarekomi(wavy) and turns back to a gentle curl called Komaru.

<Nakago - Tang>
The Tang is Ubu(original) and has Sujigai 筋違い file marks. Nakago end is Kurijiri shape.

<Habaki-Metal collar>
(New) Solid silver single piece Habaki in Shonai style.

<Koshirae - Mountings>

Tsuba: Mokko shaped iron base Sukashi Tsuba with Vajras motif
Fuchi Kashira: Engraved dragon on brass base.
Menuki: Engravings of dragon.
Tsuka: (New) Covered with ray skin with Oyatsubu and wrapped with black suede in Morohineri-maki style.
Saya: Kuro - lacquered in black.

<Blade Condition>
Polish: There are whitish thin rusts and Hike(s) due to Furutogi.
Defects such as openings, chips and cracks: There are tiny chips on the cutting edge which can be taken off by professional Togi-polishing.
