<Swordsmith and sword feature>
Swordsmith Kazunori 一則 (1926-1989), real name "Kanematsu Kazuichi 兼松一市" was born and worked in Seki city, Gifu as a Jumei Tosho who was certified swordsmiths from Army headquarter of Japan.
However considering its feature, it was obviously made as a Tachi of which length is too long for a Gunto.
We have repaired Tsuka also fitted new Tosogu(Tsuba, Fuchi Kashira and Menuki) for better and firm grip.
This sword is a very nice, light weight Iai shinken which also takes a good balance and gives a light feel to Iai practitioners.

It has an ordinary blade weight and a width, Shinogi-zukuri, Iori-mune. The curve is Toriizori style and the blade top is Nakamine.
There are Katachiri Bohi(thick groove which extends to shinogi,leaves flat space only on Mune side) on both side of the blade.

<Hada - Forging>
The jihada (body of the blade) is a Mokume and coarse Jinie(darkish crystal)granule attaches on the surface.

<Hamon - Temper patterns>
The Hamon is Togati-Gunome in which the peaks are pointed and orderly.

<Nakago - Tang>
The Tang is Ubu(original) and has Takanoha(hawk feather pattern) file marks. Nakago end is irregular Kurijiri shape.

<Habaki-Metal collar>
Single piece, silver gilded copper Habaki.
