<Swordsmith and sword feature>
This Shinshinto blade comes with a almost new Koshirae which had been fitted firmly.
A recommendable Tameshigiri sword with an excellent balance.
Giheiya offers a better Togi(polishing) rate for this sword for our customers.


<Appearance>
This blade is slightly wide and thick, Shinogi-zukuri and Iori-mune. The curve is Toriizori style and the blade top is Nakamine.


<Hada - Forging>
Kitae-hada is Itame and coarse Jinie(darkish crystal)granule attaches on the surface.


<Hamon - Temper patterns>
The Hamon is fine Gunome Choji with abundant Ashi stacked in the yakiba.


<Nakago - Tang>
The Tang is Ubu(original) and has Kiri file marks(straight file marks from the edge to the back of the Nakago). Nakago end is shallow Kurijiri shape.


<Habaki-Metal collar>
A solid silver single piece Habaki with horizontal file marks.

<Koshirae - Mountings>

Tsuba: Round iron base tsuba, there is hummer marks on its surface and the outer peripheral with gold gilded inlay.
Fuchi Kashira: Gold gilded copper base Fuchi Kashira with Higo style "Mountain Path" line.
Menuki: Copper base Menuki with the engravings of Shishi(lions)
Tsuka: Coverd with ray skin and wrapped with black cowhide in Morohineri-maki style.
Saya: Kuro - lacquered in black.


<Blade Condition>
Polish: There are few thin rusts.
Defects such as openings, chips and cracks: There is a couple of tiny and shallow dented parts.
